Cookie Policy
This Cookie Policy explains which cookies and similar technologies delvona.world uses, why we use them, how long they last, and how you can control them. It is issued by Delvona Health Ltd, 12 Park Row, Leeds, LS1 5HD, and should be read alongside our Privacy Policy.
1. Scope of this policy
This policy covers cookies and comparable storage technologies used on every page of delvona.world, including the homepage, product information pages and the order form. It applies to any device you use to visit our site, whether a desktop computer, tablet or mobile phone. It does not cover cookies that may be set by other websites you reach through links from our pages, since those sites operate under their own policies. We encourage you to review this document whenever you visit our site for the first time, and again if you notice the cookie banner reappear after your consent period has expired.
2. What a cookie actually is
A cookie is a small text file that a website stores on your browser when you visit it, allowing the site to recognise your device on a return visit or during your current session. Cookies cannot access other files on your device and cannot themselves install software. Some cookies are deleted automatically when you close your browser, known as session cookies, while others persist for a defined period, known as persistent cookies. We also occasionally use similar local storage technologies that behave in a comparable way and are covered by the same principles described in this policy.
3. Legal basis for using cookies
Our use of cookies is governed by the Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations (PECR) alongside the UK GDPR. Cookies that are strictly necessary for the website to function, such as remembering your cookie consent choice, are exempt from the requirement to obtain consent, because the site could not work properly without them. All other cookies, including analytics and any future marketing cookies, are only set after you have given clear, informed consent through our cookie banner, and you may withdraw that consent at any time with the same ease with which it was given.
4. Strictly necessary cookies
We use a cookie named delvona_session to maintain the basic state of your visit, such as keeping the order form working correctly as you complete it; this cookie is a session cookie and is deleted automatically when you close your browser. We also use a cookie named delvona_consent to remember which cookie categories you have accepted or rejected, so that the consent banner does not appear on every page; this cookie lasts for twelve months from when you set your preference. Neither of these cookies is used for advertising or cross-site tracking, and neither requires your consent to be set.
5. Analytics cookies
With your consent, we use privacy-focused analytics provided by Plausible Analytics to understand, in aggregate, which pages are visited and how visitors move through our site. Plausible does not use persistent tracking cookies by default and does not build cross-site profiles; where any short-lived identifier is used for statistical purposes it is retained for no longer than twenty-four hours before being aggregated. Aggregated analytics reports derived from this data are retained for up to fourteen months so that we can compare performance over time. You can decline analytics cookies without affecting your ability to browse or order from our site.
6. Preference cookies
Preference cookies remember choices you make so that repeat visits are more convenient, for example remembering that you have already dismissed an informational banner. These cookies typically last for twelve months. They are not required for our product pages to load correctly, but declining them means certain choices may need to be made again on a future visit. We do not use preference cookies to build a profile of your interests.
7. Marketing and advertising cookies
We do not currently set any marketing or third-party advertising cookies on delvona.world. If this changes in the future, for example if we introduce a retargeting campaign with a named advertising partner, we will update this policy in advance, describe the specific cookies involved, their lifespan and their purpose, and ensure the cookie banner requests your explicit consent before any such cookie is set.
8. Third-party cookie providers
Where cookies or similar technologies are set by a third party on our behalf, we only work with providers who are contractually required to protect your information. Our analytics provider is Plausible Analytics, operated within the European Union. Our website hosting provider, Vercel Inc., may set essential technical cookies required to route requests securely and prevent abuse of our infrastructure. We do not permit any provider to combine cookie data collected on delvona.world with data from unrelated websites for their own advertising purposes.
9. How to manage or withdraw your consent
You can change your cookie preferences at any time by selecting Cookie Settings in the footer of any page on our website, which reopens the consent modal and lets you accept or reject each optional category individually. You can also control cookies through your browser settings, including blocking all cookies or deleting cookies already stored, although doing so may affect how parts of our order form behave. Withdrawing consent does not affect the lawfulness of any processing that took place before you withdrew it.
10. International transfers relating to cookies
Our analytics provider processes data within the European Union. Our website hosting provider, Vercel Inc., is based in the United States, and limited technical data associated with cookie delivery may pass through its infrastructure as part of normal website operation. Where this occurs, we rely on the UK International Data Transfer Addendum to the EU Standard Contractual Clauses or another lawful transfer mechanism to ensure your information continues to receive an appropriate level of protection.
11. Retention periods at a glance
To summarise the retention periods described above: delvona_session lasts only for the duration of your browser session; delvona_consent lasts twelve months; any short-lived analytics identifier is retained for no more than twenty-four hours before aggregation, with aggregated statistical reports kept for up to fourteen months. We do not currently retain any cookie-derived data for longer than fourteen months, and we periodically review these periods to ensure they remain no longer than necessary.
12. Your rights
Where cookies involve the processing of personal data, the rights described in our Privacy Policy apply equally here, including the right to access, correct or erase information, and the right to object to processing based on consent by withdrawing that consent. You will not be denied access to our product information or order form solely because you decline optional cookies, since strictly necessary cookies are sufficient for the site to function.
13. Complaints procedure
If you believe we have used cookies in a way that is inconsistent with this policy, please contact us at [email protected] or +44 113 289 4203 and we will investigate. We aim to acknowledge cookie-related complaints within five working days and to provide a full response within thirty calendar days. You may also raise concerns directly with the Information Commissioner's Office, Wycliffe House, Water Lane, Wilmslow, Cheshire, SK9 5AF, or via ico.org.uk, at any stage.
14. Changes to this policy
We may revise this Cookie Policy if we introduce new technologies or change providers. Material changes will be reflected in an updated effective date at the top of this page and, where appropriate, a fresh consent prompt. Version history: 11 August 2026 — initial publication alongside the launch of delvona.world. We plan to review this policy at least annually, with the next scheduled review by 11 August 2027.
