Legal Notice
This Legal Notice identifies the company operating delvona.world, the regulatory authorities that oversee our activities, and the legal terms that apply to the operation of this website, in accordance with UK company and e-commerce disclosure requirements set out in the Companies Act 2006 and the Electronic Commerce (EC Directive) Regulations 2002 as retained in UK law. It should be read together with our Terms of Use, Privacy Policy, Cookie Policy and Returns Policy, which together form the full legal framework governing your use of this website and any order you place with us.
1. Scope of this notice
This notice sets out the identity of the business that owns and operates delvona.world, the regulatory bodies relevant to a UK food supplement business and to data protection, and general legal information about how our website may be used and how disputes are handled. It applies to every page of delvona.world and to every order placed through our online order form or confirmed by telephone. It does not itself create additional contractual obligations beyond those set out in our Terms of Use, but it is intended to satisfy the statutory duty to make certain company and trading information readily available to any visitor. Where any conflict arises between this notice and a more specific policy, the more specific policy will govern the point in question.
2. Company identification
Delvona Health Ltd is registered with Companies House in England and Wales under Company No. 11384756. Our registered office and correspondence address is 12 Park Row, Leeds, LS1 5HD, England. Our VAT registration number is GB 402 5519 27. You can contact us by telephone on +44 113 289 4203 during our working hours of Monday to Friday, 9:00 to 17:30, or by email at [email protected] at any time, and we treat every enquiry as important regardless of the channel used to reach us.
3. Product classification
Hair Growth Formula is classified as a food supplement under UK food law and Regulation (EC) No 1924/2006 as retained in UK law. It is not a medicinal product, is not subject to medicines regulation, and is not evaluated or approved by the Medicines and Healthcare products Regulatory Agency. Nutrient function statements made elsewhere on this website relate to specific nutrients within the product, such as biotin, zinc and selenium, and are not claims that Hair Growth Formula as a whole treats, cures or prevents any condition. Full ingredient and nutrient reference value information is set out on our Ingredients page and on the product packaging itself.
4. Regulatory authorities
Food supplements in the United Kingdom are regulated by the Food Standards Agency (FSA), 10 South Colonnade, Canary Wharf, London, E14 4PU, which oversees food safety and labelling standards that apply to products such as Hair Growth Formula. Data protection matters are overseen by the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO), Wycliffe House, Water Lane, Wilmslow, Cheshire, SK9 5AF, telephone 0303 123 1113, website ico.org.uk. Advertising standards fall under the remit of the Advertising Standards Authority (ASA), Castle House, 37-45 Paul Street, London, EC2A 4LS, and we design our marketing content with the CAP Code in mind. Trading Standards services, coordinated nationally through Citizens Advice, also have jurisdiction over our consumer-facing trading practices.
5. Personal data we collect through this website
In operating delvona.world we collect personal data including full names, telephone numbers, delivery addresses and any notes submitted through our order form, together with the content of emails and telephone calls made in connection with an order or a customer service query. We also collect limited technical data automatically, such as IP addresses, browser and device type, and page-level analytics events, generated when you visit our pages. We do not collect full payment card details through our website, since payment on delivery is processed by our courier partner's own card terminal at the point of handover, not by us. The complete list of categories, sources and uses of personal data is set out in full in our Privacy Policy, which forms part of the legal framework referenced in this notice.
6. Legal basis for processing
We process personal data collected through this website on the legal bases permitted by the UK GDPR: performance of a contract when fulfilling an order, compliance with a legal obligation when retaining financial records for tax purposes, legitimate interests when maintaining the security and reliability of our website and preventing fraudulent order submissions, and consent where we specifically ask for it, such as for optional analytics cookies or promotional email. We select the basis that most accurately reflects each specific activity rather than relying on a single blanket justification. These bases are explained activity by activity, in greater depth, in our Privacy Policy.
7. Retention of records
As a general rule, financial and order records connected with this website are retained for six years from the end of the relevant financial year to satisfy UK tax and company law obligations under the Companies Act 2006 and HMRC record-keeping requirements. Call recordings made during order confirmation calls are kept for twelve months before automatic deletion, and customer service correspondence is retained for twenty-four months from the date a query is resolved. Cookie consent records are stored for twelve months, matching the lifespan of the consent cookie itself, and website security logs are kept for ninety days for the purpose of detecting and investigating misuse. We do not retain personal data for longer than is necessary for the purpose for which it was originally collected, and these periods are reviewed periodically to confirm they remain appropriate.
8. Your rights and how to exercise them
Visitors and customers have the rights available under the UK GDPR, including the right to request access to the personal data we hold, to ask us to correct inaccurate information, to request erasure where there is no continuing lawful reason for us to retain it, to restrict or object to certain processing, and to receive a portable copy of data you provided to us directly. To exercise any of these rights, write to [email protected] or telephone +44 113 289 4203, including enough detail for us to verify your identity before we act on the request. We aim to acknowledge any such request within five working days and to provide a substantive response within one calendar month, extending that period only where a request is genuinely complex and explaining the reason if we do so. These rights are described in full, with worked examples, in our Privacy Policy.
9. Named third-party processors
We work with a limited number of processors to operate this website and fulfil orders, and we only share the minimum personal data each of them needs to perform their function. Our courier partners, Evri (Hermes Parcelnet Ltd) and DPD UK, receive names, addresses and telephone numbers to deliver parcels and to collect payment on delivery. Our website hosting and infrastructure is provided by Vercel Inc., our transactional email provider is Postmark, a service of ActiveCampaign, LLC, our telephone order-confirmation platform is provided by Aircall UK Ltd, and our privacy-focused website analytics are provided by Plausible Analytics. Each processor is bound by a data processing agreement that restricts their use of personal data to the specific services they provide to us, and none of them may use your data for their own independent marketing purposes.
10. Cookies used on this website
This website uses a small number of cookies, described fully in our Cookie Policy, which forms part of the legal framework referenced in this notice. In summary, we use a strictly necessary session cookie called delvona_session that expires automatically when you close your browser, and a preference cookie called delvona_consent that remembers your cookie choices for twelve months from when you make them. Where you separately consent to analytics, a short-lived, privacy-focused identifier may be set by Plausible Analytics for aggregated statistical purposes only, and we do not currently use any marketing or cross-site advertising cookies. You can review, change or withdraw your cookie preferences at any time using the Cookie Settings link available in the website footer on every page.
11. International data transfers
Most personal data connected with delivery, such as names and addresses shared with our couriers, stays within the United Kingdom throughout the fulfilment process. However, some of our service providers, including our website hosting provider Vercel Inc. and our transactional email provider ActiveCampaign, LLC, are based in the United States. Where personal data is transferred outside the United Kingdom in connection with these services, we ensure appropriate safeguards are in place, such as reliance on the UK International Data Transfer Addendum to the EU Standard Contractual Clauses, or another lawful transfer mechanism recognised by the Information Commissioner's Office. We limit any such transfer to the minimum data necessary for the relevant provider to deliver its service to us.
12. Intellectual property and acceptable use
All content on delvona.world, including text, product photography, logos, layout and underlying code, is owned by or licensed to Delvona Health Ltd and may not be reproduced, scraped or used for commercial purposes without our prior written consent. Website content is provided for general product information only, and you should always read the product label and packaging directions before use rather than relying solely on website copy. You must not use this website in any way that could damage, disable or impair its operation, or attempt to gain unauthorised access to our order systems or telephone platform. Nothing on this website changes your statutory rights as a consumer under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 or the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013.
13. Complaints and how to contact us
If you have a concern about this website, our company details, or how we have applied any regulation referred to in this notice, contact us at [email protected] or +44 113 289 4203 during our working hours of Monday to Friday, 9:00 to 17:30. We aim to acknowledge any such enquiry within five working days and to provide a full response within thirty calendar days, escalating internally any complaint that cannot be resolved at first contact. Data protection complaints that remain unresolved after our internal process may also be referred to the Information Commissioner's Office using the details given in section 4, and advertising complaints may separately be referred to the Advertising Standards Authority. We would, however, always prefer the opportunity to resolve a concern directly before it is escalated externally.
14. Dispute resolution and governing law
This notice, and the operation of delvona.world generally, is governed by the laws of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute arising in connection with this website, subject to any mandatory consumer protections that apply in your own jurisdiction if you are based elsewhere in the United Kingdom. We are not currently signed up to any alternative dispute resolution scheme, but we will always attempt to resolve a complaint directly in the first instance, and nothing in this notice prevents you from pursuing any statutory remedy available to you as a consumer, including through the small claims process where appropriate.
